Peter Cortis-Jones jointly established Arkadia with Greg Karedis back in 2006.
Since inception Arkadia has continued to innovate and evolve. Today Peter remains responsible for charting the course of the business together with delivering growth of assets under management.
He was previously a Director at CB Richard Ellis.
Prior to that Peter held roles with GPT and Lend Lease.
Senior Portfolio Manager
George Mihailou is the Portfolio Manager of all Shopping Centre assets within the group. George also works together on Project and Major Tenant Leasing for the Group including the new shopping centre projects. George has formerly held Centre Management roles within AMP Capital Investors and Jones Lang LaSalle. George also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property Economics) degree.
Karlene Short is a Portfolio Manager of Large Format Retail centre assets, including Aspley Homemaker City in Brisbane and Nunawading Home HQ in Melbourne. Karlene has worked in shopping centre asset management for the past 13 years and has previously held roles managing large retail format centres in Sydney, including large scale development and re branding of a large metropolitan centre, where she was also involved in leasing, tenancy mix, strategic development and the centre re launch.
Jay Ridgeway is a Portfolio Manager responsible for the management of a portfolio of Large Format Retail Centres together with other investments. He has previously held roles with DTZ in London and Sydney and Workman Retail, a UK-based Property Management firm. In each of these roles he gained invaluable experience managing shopping centres, retail parks, factory outlets and strip shops for a number of clients including some very high-profile investors.
National Leasing Executive
Steve James is the National Leasing Executive for Arkadia. Steve is responsible for new leasing, major tenant relations and major project leasing. Steve is a specialist in Large Format Retail and Retail leasing and has completed a Master of Property Development, Graduate Diploma in Property Development, Advanced Diploma in Property Valuation and Diploma of Property in Real Estate. Steve is a registered Valuer and a Licensed Real Estate Agent.
Steve has recently joined Arkadia from CBRE, where he was the Manager of Large Format Retail for NSW.
Senior Property Accountant
Joe Adra is the Property Accountant for Arkadia Property Services. Joe is an invaluable member of the group with almost 15 years of accounting experience within the property industry. Joe’s previous experience includes portfolio and trust accounting at Jones Lang LaSalle and property accounting with Ipoh. Joe holds degrees in Economics and Accounting.
Dina has specialised in Property Accounting over the past 13 years for Stockland, Colonial First State Global Asset Management and Jones Lang LaSalle. Prior to this she worked for 10 years in Funds Management with Perpetual Trustees, IPAC and CBA. Dina is a qualified CPA.
Fran Yu is the Assistant Property Accountant for Arkadia Property Services. For the last 7 years she has worked closely with the property accounting team on all assets. Fran has held various accounting positions in numerous industries such as wholesale, hospitality, direct marketing and properties. She holds a Commerce degree from Sydney University.
Robyn Cubis is responsible for the delivery of strategic marketing initiatives for Arkadia's portfolio of Shopping Centres and Large Format Retail assets. Robbie oversees marketing and planning, brand marketing, public relations, market analysis and research, web development and event management. Robbie holds an MBA and has formerly held senior marketing positions at Westfield, Luxotica (OPSM & Sunglass Hut) and Sunbeam.
Jenny is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational of handling day to day operations and office duties. Jenny comes from corporate administration background and has been with Arkadia since June 2011. Her focus in the company is to refine, develop to maintain and establish excellent customer relationships whilst fielding enquiries from our customers and tenants on a day to day basis.
